Short version: we only collect what we need to understand your business and reply to you. We never sell your information. We only send you marketing if you ask us to, and you can ask us to delete your details at any time.

1. Who we are

Creo Media (“Creo”, “we”, “us”) is a marketing company based in Windhoek, Namibia. We are responsible for the personal information collected through this website.

Privacy questions and requests: ignatious@ilovecreomedia.com. Our Information Officer is Ignatious Jingura, Founder.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers ilovecreomedia.com, including the Creo Growth Assessment, the contact form, and messages you send us by email or WhatsApp from the site. Our client work is covered by the agreement we sign with each client.

3. What we collect

Information you give us

  • Growth Assessment: your industry and type of business, country, your answers to the diagnostic statements, your challenges, current marketing and results, your goals, and commercial context such as your role, organisation size, investment ranges and timing.
  • Contact details: your name, email address, company and, if you choose to give it, your phone or WhatsApp number.
  • Contact form, email and WhatsApp: whatever you choose to tell us about your enquiry.

Information collected automatically

  • How you found us: the page you landed on, the website that referred you, and any campaign tags or advert click IDs in the link you followed (for example from a Facebook, Google, TikTok or LinkedIn advert). This is kept in your browser and sent to us only if you submit a form.
  • Technical information: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to run and secure the site.

The site is for businesses. We don’t ask for sensitive information (such as health, religion or financial account details) and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.

4. When the assessment is saved

To make sure we can send you your result, your assessment answers are saved when you enter your contact details — about two-thirds of the way through — and again when you finish. If you stop part-way after entering your details, we will still have the answers you gave up to that point.

5. How we use it

  • To calculate and show your Creo Demand Score.
  • To reply to you, follow up on your assessment or enquiry, and work out whether and how we can help.
  • To understand which of our own marketing brings in the right enquiries.
  • To keep the website working and secure.
  • To send you marketing — only if you have opted in (see section 7).

We use your information because you asked us to (by submitting a form), because we have a legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and improving our marketing, or because you have given consent.

6. Your Demand Score

Your score is calculated only from your answers to the twelve diagnostic statements. It is an initial, self-reported diagnostic — not a complete audit of your business — and it is not used to make any automated decision with legal or similar effect on you.

7. Marketing

We only send you marketing — event invitations, playbooks, breakdowns, case studies and strategies — if you tick “Send me the good stuff”. That box is never ticked for you. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by writing to ignatious@ilovecreomedia.com.

8. Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who help us run the site and our business and who may only use it on our instructions: Netlify (website hosting and form storage) and Google Workspace (email). If we use advertising or analytics tools, or embed our films, Meta, Google or YouTube may also receive information as described in section 10.
  • Professional advisers, such as our accountants or lawyers, where necessary.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

9. Information stored outside Namibia

Our service providers store information on servers outside Namibia and South Africa, including in the United States. We use established providers that protect personal information under their own data-protection terms and security standards.

10. Cookies and browser storage

We use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to understand how people use the site and whether our adverts reach the right businesses. These tools set cookies and receive information such as the pages you view, the buttons you use (for example, starting the assessment or opening WhatsApp) and the fact that a form was sent — never what you type into it. The site also uses your browser’s own storage for three things, which stay on your device unless you submit a form:

  • How you found us (campaign tags, referring site, landing page) — deleted 90 days after your last visit.
  • Assessment progress, so a refresh doesn’t lose your answers — cleared when you finish or close the tab.
  • Unsent forms — if a submission fails (for example, you lose signal), it is kept and sent automatically on your next visit.

You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) and control how Meta uses this information in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings. Films play through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, which only loads when you press play. You can clear or block browser storage and cookies in your browser settings.

11. How long we keep it

  • Assessments and enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless we start working together.
  • If you become a client: for as long as we work together, and afterwards as long as the law requires for business records.
  • Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe.

12. Keeping it safe

Only Creo team members who need your information can see it, and our providers protect it with industry-standard security. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect it and will act promptly if anything goes wrong.

13. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
  • correct or update it;
  • delete it;
  • stop using it for a particular purpose, including marketing;
  • withdraw any consent you have given.

Write to ignatious@ilovecreomedia.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in South Africa and are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can also complain to the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za).

14. Changes to this policy

If we change how we use personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
